Majority of renewable energy stocks weakened at the beginning of the week

Jakarta – Shares of companies with renewable energy businesses listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) primarily ended in the red zone in early week trading on Monday, November 18. Five of the seven stocks traded weakened, and only two ended in the green zone.

PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) shares closed down 3.26% at 6,675. This closing level is also the lowest level of BREN’s stock movement throughout the day. On Monday, BREN shares also contributed to the Indonesia Composite Stock Price Index (IDX Composite) movement, which ended minus 0.38% at 7,134.27.

Other renewable energy issuers weakened in today’s trade, namely PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO), down 0.97% at 1,025, PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO), down 0.53% at 945, and PT Kencana Energi Lestari Tbk (KEEN), down 0.81% at 615.

Meanwhile, PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (TGRA) shares closed down 4.76% in Monday’s trading.

Meanwhile, the shares of renewable energy issuers that ended in the green zone today were PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA), which gained 2.34% at 131, and PT Semacom Integrated Tbk (SEMA), which rose 2.41% at 85. (hs)
