Jakarta – Shares of issuers with renewable energy businesses, the majority ended in the red zone on Thursday, November 14. Of the seven renewable energy companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), six stocks ended in the red zone, and only one remained stagnant. Five stocks even recorded significant losses, or above 1%.
Shares of renewable energy issuer PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) weakened 4.75% on Thursday. This became the main burden for the Indonesia Composite Stock Price Index (IDX Composite), reaching 13.2 index points. The IDX Composite on Thursday ended at 7,214.56, or down 1.29%.
Shares of other renewable energy issuers also ended in the red zone: PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO) fell 2.78% to 1,050, PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO) weakened 1.01% to 980, and PT Semacom Integrated Tbk (SEMA) weakened 2.41% to 81.
Then the shares of PT Kencana Energi Lestari Tbk (KEEN) weakened 0.78% at 640, and PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA) fell 5.22% at 127.
Meanwhile, the only stagnant stock was PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (TGRA) at level 20. (hs)
