Jakarta – Shares of issuers with renewable energy businesses tend to be sluggish, and almost all closed in the red zone on Wednesday, October 30.
Shares of PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) ended at 6,675 in Wednesday’s trading or dropped 1.84 per cent. With this weakening, the shares of the PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT) business group have weakened 10.70% during the current year, and BREN’s market capitalization is currently decreasing to IDR 893.02 trillion.
Today, BREN shares were even included in the list of stocks that weighed on the Indonesia Composite Index (IDX Composite), which amounted to 4.8 index points. The IDX Composite closed 0.48% lower at 7,569.85 on Wednesday.
Shares of other renewable energy issuers that also ended in the red zone today, namely PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO) which fell 1.8% at 1,090, PT Semacom Integrated Tbk (SEMA) weakened 2.15% at 91, and PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO) weakened 0.47% at 1,050.
Then PT Kencana Energi Lestari Tbk (KEEN) fell 2.96% at 655, and PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (TGRA) weakened 4.76% at 20.
Meanwhile, one share of a renewable energy issuer that ended stagnant was PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA) at 138. (hs)
