Renewable energy stocks sluggish early this week

Jakarta—Starting this week, shares of issuers with renewable energy businesses tend to be sluggish, along with the weakness in the Indonesia Composite Index (IDX Composite) due to investor profit-taking.

Only the shares of PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (TGRA) strengthened in today’s trading. TGRA shares even strengthened significantly by 8.7% to level 25.

Meanwhile, four shares of renewable energy issuers recorded weaknesses in today’s trading. The four stocks are PT Maharaksa Biru Energi (OASA), which fell 1.42% to 139, PT Semacom Integrated Tbk (SEMA), which fell 1.83% to 107, PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO), which fell 1.01% to 985, and PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN), which depreciated 0.46% to 10,750.

PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO) and PT Kencana Energi Lestari Tbk (hs) were the two stocks that closed stagnant on Monday. (hs)
