Renewable energy stocks mostly decline on Monday, February 10

Jakarta—Shares of renewable energy companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) closed mostly lower on Monday, February 10, with five stocks declining, two gaining, and one remaining unchanged. The Indonesian Composite Price Index (IDX Composite) continued a downward trend and closed lower by 1.51% to 6,640.929.

Among the decliners, PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) saw the steepest drop, falling 5.34% to 6,650. PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO) also weakened, slipping 2.25% to 870, while PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA) dropped 2.04% to 144. PT Semacom Integrated Tbk (SEMA) declined 5.56% to 85, and PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (TGRA) edged down 2.27% to 43.

On the positive side, PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO) gained 0.55% to 915, while PT Hero Global Investment Tbk (HGII) inched up 1.60% to 191. PT Kencana Energi Lestari Tbk (KEEN) remained unchanged at 630.

Trading volume was led by BREN, with over 154 million shares exchanged. The performance of renewable energy stocks reflected ongoing investor sentiment amid broader market dynamics. (nsh)
