Renewable energy stocks decline on Tuesday, February 25

Jakarta—Shares of renewable energy companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) closed mostly lower on Tuesday, February 25, with six stocks declining and two remaining unchanged. The Indonesian Composite Price Index (IDX Composite) closed lower by 2.04% to 6,611.645.

On the downside, PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) fell 2.78% to 6,125, leading the decline. PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA) slipped 4.65% to 123, and PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO) dropped 2.12% to 925. PT Hero Global Investment Tbk (HGII) decreased 2.56% to 190, while PT Kencana Energi Lestari Tbk (KEEN) and PT Semacom Integrated Tbk (SEMA) also weakened, falling 0.77% to 645 and 4.40% to 87, respectively.

Meanwhile, PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO) and PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (TGRA) remained unchanged at 940 and 44, respectively.
