Jakarta—Shares of renewable energy companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) closed mixed on Wednesday, February 19, with three stocks gaining, two declining, and three remaining unchanged. The Indonesian Composite Price Index (IDX Composite) closed lower by 1.14% to 6,795.164.
Leading the gainers, PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO) surged 4.60% to 910, followed by PT Semacom Integrated Tbk (SEMA), which rose 2.25% to 91, and PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA), which edged up 0.76% to 133.
On the downside, PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) fell 1.47% to 6,725, while PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (TGRA) slipped 4.17% to 46.
Meanwhile, PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO), PT Hero Global Investment Tbk (HGII), and PT Kencana Energi Lestari Tbk (KEEN) remained unchanged at 940, 199, and 650, respectively.
Trading activity was led by HGII, with over 42 million shares exchanged. The mixed performance reflected varied investor sentiment across the renewable energy sector. (nsh)
