Jakarta—Shares of renewable energy companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) closed mixed on Friday, February 14, with two stocks gaining, two declining, and four remaining unchanged. The Indonesian Composite Price Index (IDX Composite) closed lower by 0.38% to 6,638.459.
Leading the gainers, PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) edged up 0.41% to 6,150, while PT Hero Global Investment Tbk (HGII) rose 1.06% to 191.
On the losing side, PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO) slipped 2.63% to 925, and PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA) saw the sharpest drop, falling 6.57% to 128.
Meanwhile, PT Kencana Energi Lestari Tbk (KEEN), PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO), and PT Semacom Integrated Tbk (SEMA) remained unchanged at 635, 885, and 88, respectively. PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (TGRA) gained 10.00% to 44, marking the biggest percentage increase of the day.
Trading activity was led by OASA, with over 118 million shares exchanged. The mixed performance reflected varying investor sentiment ahead of the weekend. (nsh)
