Renewable energy shares tend to weaken at the beginning of the week

Jakarta – Most shares of issuers with renewable energy businesses closed lower in early trading this week, Tuesday, September 17. The shares of PT Terregra Asia Energy (TGRA) became the stock of renewable energy issuers with the deepest decline, namely 6.9% to level 27 at the close of trading today.

In addition to TGRA shares, other renewable energy issuers that recorded weakening in today’s trade were PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN), which closed at 11,150, or down 5.31%, PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA), which fell 2.7% to 144, and PT Kencana Energi Lestari Tbk (KEEN), which weakened 0.72% to 685. PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO) fell 0.52% to 950.

Meanwhile, in today’s trading, shares of PT Semacom Integrated Tbk (SEMA) strengthened 0.94% to level 107, while shares of PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy (PGEO) stagnated at 1,120.

Shares of renewable energy issuers tended to weaken when the Indonesia Composite Index (IDX Composite) closed higher, touching the all-time high (ATH) level with a transaction value of nearly Rp 12 trillion.

IDX Composite closed at 7,831.77 or up 0.25% in today’s trade. Throughout today’s trading, IDX Composite moved in the range of 7,802-7,854. (hs)
