Jakarta – Shares of companies with renewable energy businesses tended to close lower in early week trading on Monday, January 6. Five of the seven stocks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange closed in the red zone, while only two stocks ended up higher.
The stocks that closed lower were PT Semacom Integrated Tbk (SEMA), which fell deeply by 17.07% at level 93, then PT Kencana Energi Lestari Tbk (KEEN), which fell 3.45% at level 560, PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA), which fell 2.01% at level 146.
Other shares of renewable energy issuers that also weakened were PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO), which fell 1.11% at 890, and PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO), which fell 1.07% at 925.
The two shares of renewable energy issuers that Monday closed in the green zone were PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN), which rose 1.29% at 9,800, and PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (TGRA), which rose 8.11% at 40. (hs)
