Jakarta—Shares of issuers with renewable energy businesses closed higher, with the majority closing higher at the end of trading on Thursday, August 15. Three shares of renewable energy issuers recorded significant gains at the close of trading.
At the end of today’s trading, PT Kencana Energi Lestari (KEEN) shares closed 0.7% higher at 715. Then, the shares of PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA) strengthened 1.48% to 137.
PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO) ‘s shares strengthened significantly by 9.35% to 1,170, and PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (TGRA) ‘s shares rose 9.68% to level 34 at the end of trading today.
Shares that closed stagnant were PT Semacom Integrated Tbk (SEMA) at 114.
Meanwhile, the shares of renewable energy issuers that weakened at the close of trading today were PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO), which fell 1.2% to 1,235. PT Barito Renewables Energy (BREN) shares depreciated 1.42% to 8,675 due to profit taking by investors.
The decline in Barito Renewables Energy shares also weighed on the movement of the Indonesia Composite Index (IDX Composite), which in today’s trading closed minus 0.36% to 7,409.5. (hs)
