Majority of renewable energy stocks rallied at the end of the week

Jakarta—On Friday, September 6, Most shares of issuers with renewable energy businesses ended in the green zone during weekend trading. Four shares closed in the green at the end of trading hours.

At 16:00 WIB, PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA) shares closed up 1.44% to level 141, then PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (TGRA) shares rose 4.55% to level 23, and PT Semacom Integrated Tbk (SEMA) strengthened 1.87% to level 109.

The shares of Prajogo Pangestu’s conglomerate issuer, PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN), also closed 0.47% higher to 10,800. This strengthening also confirmed Barito Renewables’ position as the issuer with the largest market capitalisation on the IDX, with a market cap value of IDR 1,444.89 trillion.

Meanwhile, the shares of renewable energy issuers that weakened in today’s trade were PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO), which closed at 1,130 or down 0.88%, and PT Kencana Energi Lestari Tbk (KEEN), which fell 0.72% to 690.

Meanwhile, shares of PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO) in today’s trading ended stagnant at 995. (hs)
