Jakarta—Most stocks in renewable energy businesses ended in the green zone on Wednesday, October 16. Of the seven stocks of renewable energy companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), five ended in the green zone, and two were stagnant.
PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (TGRA) and PT Maharaksa Biru Energi (OASA) were the two stocks that closed stagnant in Wednesday’s trade.
The renewable energy stock that recorded the highest gain on Wednesday’s trade was PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN), which rose 4.96% to 6,875. The shares of the Barito Pacific business group finally became movers for the Indonesia Composite Index (IDX Composite), which closed up 0.29% to 7,648.94.
Other renewable energy issuers closed higher at the end of trading yesterday, namely PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO), which rose 2.52% to 1,220, and PT Kencana Energi Lestari Tbk (KEEN), which rose 1.46% to 695.
Then, the shares of PT Semacom Integrated Tbk (SEMA) strengthened 1.03% to level 98, and the shares of PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO) appreciated 0.42% to 1,185. (hs)
