Jakarta—Shares of companies with renewable energy businesses closed higher on Tuesday, November 19, after the majority of trading the day before ended in the red zone. As of 16:00 WIB, the shares of five renewable energy issuers on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended in the green, while one stock weakened and one stock stagnated.
PT Barito Renewables Tbk (BREN) shares today were among the renewable energy issuers that ended in the green zone after strengthening 2.62% at 6,850. The shares of the Prajogo Pangestu conglomerate also supported the greening of the Indonesia Composite Stock Price Index (IDX Composite), which closed at 7,195.71, or 0.86% higher.
Other renewable energy issuers’ shares were also green in today’s trading, namely PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO), which strengthened 1.46% at 1,040, PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO), which strengthened 2.65% at 970, PT Kencana Energi Lestari Tbk (KEEN), which rose 1.63% at 625, and PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA), which rose 1.53% at 133.
The shares of renewable energy issuers that ended in the red zone today were PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (TGRA), which fell 5% at level 19.
Meanwhile, PT Semacom Integrated Tbk (SEMA) shares stagnated at 85. (hs)
