Jakarta – Shares of issuers with renewable energy businesses closed mixed again on Wednesday, August 14, 2024. Renewable energy stocks that strengthened, recorded a significant increase of more than 2%.
The strengthened stocks were PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN), which appreciated 4.76% to 8,800, then PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO), which strengthened 2.04% to 1,250.
Then the shares of PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (TGRA), recorded the highest increase among other renewable energy stocks, namely 6.9% to level 31.
The declining stocks were PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO), which fell 0.47% to 1.70. And the shares of PT Semacom Integrated Tbk (SEMA) depreciated 0.87% to 114.
The strengthening of PT Barito Renewable Energy Tbk shares by 4.76% also included this Prajogo Pangestu conglomerate group issuer in the top gainers by percentage. BREN shares became the biggest support for JCI today, reaching 16 index points.
The increase in BREN shares encouraged the strengthening of the Indonesia Composite Index (IDX Composite) which closed up 1.08% to 7,436.03, and again recorded a new record high closing level, after the previous highest level was recorded on March 14. (hs)
