Jakarta – Shares of PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) on trading day returned to strength and brought the Indonesia Composite Index (IDX Composite) to a new all-time high record at the close of trading on Tuesday, August 20.
The issuer of the Prajogo Pangestu conglomerate group closed trading today at 9,425 or strengthened by 2.45%. BREN shares also strengthened the IDX Composite, which closed at 0.9% higher than 7,533.98 at the end of trading.
BREN shares contributed 8.54 points to strengthening the IDX Composite today, less than PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (BBRI) shares, which contributed 18.76 points.
BREN shares were traded at levels 9,225 to 9,525. With today’s strengthening, Barito Renewables Energy shares have appreciated 26.09% since the beginning of the year.
The market capitalization value of Barito Renewables Energy has now reached IDR 1,260.94 trillion. Or getting closer to the market cap of PT Bank Central Asia Tbk (BBCA), which recorded a market capitalization of Rp1,285.14 trillion. (hs)
