Jakarta—In trading ahead of the weekend, Friday, October 25, shares of issuers with renewable energy businesses tend to stagnate and weaken. Based on data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), only one stock strengthened, while three stocks closed flat and three weakened.
One strengthened stock was PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO), which closed at 1,120, or strengthened 7.18%.
Meanwhile, stocks ended at the same level as the opening level, namely PT Kencana Energi Lestari Tbk (KEEN), which closed at 6.85, PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (TGRA), at 21, and PT Maharaksa Biru Energi (OASA), at 138.
On the other hand, the stocks that ended in the red zone in today’s trading were PT Semacom Integrated Tbk (SEMA), which fell 3.23% to the level, PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO), which weakened 0.44%, and PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN), which fell 1.69% to the level of 7,275.
BREN shares also returned to be one of the most considerable pressures for the Indonesia Composite Index (IDX Composite), which today closed in the red zone down 0.28%, to 7,694.66. The IDX Composite returned to the psychological level of 7,600 after six consecutive days in the 7,700s. (hs)
