Jakarta – Philippine renewable energy company ACEN has partnered strategically with PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) to develop wind power-based renewable energy projects in Indonesia.
ACEN’s management said that the strategic cooperation with Barito Renewables Energy was carried out through a subsidiary, ACEN Indonesia Investment Holdings, with PT Barito Wind Energy. The cooperation includes acquiring three wind-based renewable energy projects in South Sulawesi, West Java, and West Nusa Tenggara.
The total generating capacity reaches 320 Megawatts. It will include battery storage to improve grid stability.
ACEN management said that this exclusive partnership with Barito Renewables is a bold step forward in the company’s commitment to advancing the renewable energy sector in Indonesia. This is not only in line with ACEN’s growth strategy in Indonesia but also demonstrates ACEN’s dedication to developing innovative and sustainable energy solutions.
