Renewable energy stocks tend to strengthen ahead of the weekend

Jakarta – Shares of companies with renewable energy businesses listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), the majority closed higher in trading ahead of the weekend, Friday, December 27. PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) shares, which are usually in line with and become the main driver of the Indonesia Composite Stock Price Index (IDX Composite), went in a different direction with the closing of the composite index.

BREN shares today ended at 9,200, or 0.82% higher. This increase was in contrast to the IDX Composite, which ended in the red zone or weakened 0.41% at 7,036.57.

In addition to BREN shares, the shares of renewable energy issuers that also ended in the green zone on Friday’s trading, namely PT Kencana Energi Lestari Tbk (KEEN) which strengthened 0.85% at 595, PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO) strengthened 1.6% at 950, PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (TGRA) rose 3.57% at 29, and PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA) strengthened 2.88% at 143.

Meanwhile, the shares of renewable energy issuers that ended in the red zone were PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO), which fell 0.52% at 950.

The shares of renewable energy issuers that closed stagnant were PT Semacom Integrated Tbk (SEMA) at level 84. (hs)
