BREN surges, PGEO and SEMA slip as renewable energy stocks end mixed – Monday, July 14

Jakarta — Renewable energy stocks on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) closed mixed on Monday, July 14, with two stocks advancing, three declining, and three remaining unchanged. The Indonesian Composite Price Index (IDX Composite) closed higher by 0.71% to 7,097.151.

PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) led the gains with a significant 19.67% jump to 7,300, posting the highest transaction value of over Rp 1.07 trillion from more than 150 million shares traded across 50,294 transactions. PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO) also edged up 0.62% to 810, supported by moderate trading volume.

In contrast, PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO) slipped 0.67% to 1,480, despite strong investor interest with over 104 million shares traded, valued at more than Rp 155 billion. PT Semacom Integrated Tbk (SEMA) and PT Hero Global Investment Tbk (HGII) each fell by 1.16% and 0.63%, respectively.

Meanwhile, PT Kencana Energi Lestari Tbk (KEEN), PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA), and PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (TGRA) closed flat at 830, 169, and 27, respectively, with TGRA recording no trades.
