Jakarta – With the increase in world oil prices, control of fossil fuel subsidies is getting tighter. The trial for purchasing Pertalite and diesel fuel using the “MyPertamina” application will begin July 1, 2022, said a Pertamina spokesman, Wednesday (29/6).
PT Pertamina Patra Niaga will conduct a two-week trial on the purchase of the two types of subsidised fuel through the application. President Director of Pertamina Patra Niaga, Alfian Nasution said in a written statement, the policy was implemented so that the distribution of subsidised fuel was right on target.
As for the mechanism, the public can register on the MyPertamina mobile application. For people who do not have the Pertamina application, they can register through the MyPertamina webpage: https://subsiditepat.mypertamina.id/. Then, the MyPertamina system will match the user data of the buyers of subsidised fuel. The management will then confirm whether the registered vehicle is entitled to Pertalite or diesel fuel.
“If it is confirmed, users will get a special QR code indicating that their data matches. Thus, users can buy Pertalite and Solar,” said Nasution.
Pertamina plans to conduct initial trials in several cities and regencies spread across five provinces, namely West Sumatra, South Kalimantan, North Sulawesi, West Java and Yogyakarta. (Hartatik)
