Shares of renewable energy issuers tend to weaken ahead of the weekend

Jakarta – Shares of companies with renewable energy businesses listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) closed mixed in trading ahead of the weekend, Friday, January 31, with a weakening trend. Of the eight stocks listed, five ended weak, only two strengthened, and one ended stagnant.

Five shares of renewable energy issuers closed lower on the last day of trading in January 2025, namely, PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO) which fell 2.56% at 950, then PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO) which fell 3.98% at 965, PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (TGRA) which fell 4% at 48, PT Hero Global Investment Tbk (HGII) which fell 4.81% at 198, and PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) which fell 1.1% at 9,025.

Meanwhile, two shares of renewable energy issuers closed trading in the green zone, namely PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA), which gained 2.96% at level 139, and PT Kencana Energi Lestari Tbk (KEEN), which gained 0.79% at level 635.

Meanwhile, one share of a renewable energy issuer that ended stagnant was PT Semacom Integrated Tbk (SEMA) at level 89. (hs)
