Jakarta—Shares of companies in the renewable energy business closed mixed on Wednesday, January 15, with a tendency to end weak. Five of the seven stocks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended in the red zone, while only three stocks closed higher.
The shares of renewable energy issuers that ended in negative territory, namely PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) which weakened 5.96% at 9,075, then PT Kencana Energi Lestari Tbk (KEEN) which weakened 1.59% at 620, PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO) fell 1.05% at 945, PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA) weakened 6.2% at 13, and PT Hero Global Investment Tbk (HGII) which weakened 6.21% at 136.
Meanwhile, the three stocks that closed trading in the green zone were PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO), which gained 1.65% at 925, PT Semacom Integrated Tbk (SEMA), which gained 3.49% at 89, and PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (TGRA) which rose significantly by 9.09% at 48. (hs)
