Jakarta – Shares of companies with renewable energy businesses listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) closed mixed in trading ahead of the weekend, Friday, January 1. Four of the seven stocks listed strengthened significantly, while the other three ended in the red zone.
The shares of green energy issuers that closed green in Friday’s trade, namely PT Semacom Integrated Tbk (SEMA), shot significantly up to 34.52% at level 113. Then the shares of PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (TGRA) rose 8.82% at 37, PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA) strengthened 4.2% at 149, and the shares of PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) rose 2.11% at 9,675.
BREN shares fell again to become one of the Indonesia Composite Stock Price Index (IDX Composite) pillars, amounting to 7.6 index points, where the IDX Composite closed 0.02% higher at 7,164.43.
Meanwhile, the shares of renewable energy issuers that closed in the red zone were PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO), which fell 0.53% at 935, then PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO), which fell 1.64% at 900, and PT Kencana Energi Lestari Tbk (KEEN) which fell 2.52% at 580. (hs)
