Shares of green energy issuers closed mixed in Thursday trading

Jakarta – Shares of companies with renewable or green energy businesses listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) closed mixed on Thursday, January 16. Three shares of renewable energy issuers ended today in the green zone, while three shares closed lower and two ended stagnant.

The shares of renewable energy issuers that closed higher were PT Maharaka Biru Energi Tbk (OASA), which rose 0.74% at 137, PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO), which rose 1.08% at 935, and PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN), which rose 5.51% at 9,575.

BREN shares again supported the Indonesia Composite Stock Price Index (IDX Composite) in Thursday’s trading, amounting to 19.3 index points. The shares of the Prajogo Pangestu conglomerate helped bring the JCI up 0.39% to 7,107.52 at the end of trading.

Meanwhile, the three shares of renewable energy issuers that ended in the red zone were PT Semacom Integrated Tbk (SEMA), which weakened 2.25% at 87, then PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (TGRA,) which weakened 2.08% at 47, and PT Hero Global Investment Tbk (HGII) which weakened 1.03% at 193.

The two shares of renewable energy issuers that ended stagnant were PT Kencana Energi Lestari Tbk (KEEN) at 620 and PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO) at 945. (hs)
