Shares of energy issuers ended mixed on Tuesday

Jakarta – Shares of companies with renewable energy businesses listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) closed mixed on Tuesday, January 14. Of the eight stocks listed, four ended in the green zone, three weakened, and one ended stagnant.

The shares of renewable energy issuers that closed in positive territory were PT Hero Global Investment Tbk (HGII), which closed up 5.64% at 206, PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (TGRA), which rose 10% at 44, PT Kencana Energi Lestari Tbk (KEEN), which rose 0.8% at 630, and PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO), which rose 0.53% to 955.

As for the shares of renewable energy issuers that closed trading in the red zone, namely PT Semacom Integrated Tbk (SEMA), which weakened 1.15% at level 86, then PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA) fell 2.03% at level 145, and PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) shares fell 3.74% at level 9,650.

BREN shares were again the heaviest suppressor for the Indonesia Composite Stock Price Index (IDX Composite) movement, which amounted to 14.3 index points. The IDX Composite on Tuesday closed again at the psychological level of 6,900, precisely at 6,956.66, after losing 0.86%.

Meanwhile, one share of a renewable energy issuer that ended stagnant was PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO) at 910. (hs)
