Jakarta—Shares of companies with renewable energy businesses tended to weaken at the close of trading on Friday, November 1. Of the seven shares of renewable energy companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), four weakened, two stocks stagnated, and only one strengthened.
The shares of renewable energy issuers that weakened at the end of trading today were PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA), which fell 4.35% to 132, PT Semacom Integrated Tbk (SEMA), which fell 1.11% to 89, PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO), which fell 0.92% to 1,080, and PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN), which fell 1.47% to 6,700.
BREN shares again became a ballast for the Indonesia Composite Index (IDX Composite), which today closed down 0.91% to 7,505.26 or closer to the psychological level of 7,400.
Meanwhile, two shares of renewable energy issuers ended stagnant: PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (TGRA) at level 21 and PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO) at 1,050.
One stock that strengthened was PT Semacom Integrated Tbk (SEMA), which appreciated 1.11% to level 89. (hs)
