Renewable energy stocks mostly decline on Friday, March 14

Jakarta—Shares of renewable energy companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) mainly closed lower on Friday, March 14, with four stocks declining, one gaining, and three remaining unchanged. The Indonesian Composite Price Index (IDX Composite) closed lower by 1.98% to 6,515.631.

Among the decliners, PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO) posted the sharpest drop, falling 4.97% to 765. PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO) slipped 1.12% to 880, while PT Hero Global Investment Tbk (HGII) and PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) weakened 1.69% to 174 and 0.82% to 6,025, respectively.

On the positive side, PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA) gained 4.27% to 122.

Meanwhile, PT Kencana Energi Lestari Tbk (KEEN), PT Semacom Integrated Tbk (SEMA), and PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (TGRA) remained unchanged at 630, 83, and 37, respectively.
