Jakarta – The majority of shares of issuers with renewable energy businesses tend to end stagnant on Thursday, October 10. Two stocks ended up higher, while two stocks closed lower.
PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA), PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (TGRA), and PT Semacom Integrated (SEMA) were the three stocks that closed stagnant in today’s trading.
Meanwhile, renewable energy stocks that strengthened at the close of trading today were PT Kencana Energi Lestari Tbk (KEEN), which rose 0.74% to 680, and shares of PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO), which strengthened 0.43% to 1,170.
The weakening stocks were PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO), which fell 1.41% to 1,050. And PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN), which depreciated 1.14% to 6,525.
The weakening of BREN shares today emphasises that the shares of the Barito Pacific group issuer are still unable to generate positive sentiment after being excluded from the FTSE Russell Index. Barito Renewables Energi’s shares weakened further after being included in the Financial Services Authority (OJK) radar of stock transaction investigations.
Deputy Commissioner for Investment Management Supervision of Capital Markets and Securities Institutions of OJK Aditya Jayaantara said that the investigation is still being carried out from various aspects. (hs)
