Renewable energy stocks decline on Tuesday, March 11

Jakarta—Shares of renewable energy companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) closed mostly lower on Tuesday, March 11, with six stocks declining, one gaining, and one remaining unchanged. The Indonesian Composite Price Index (IDX Composite) closed lower by 0.79% to 6,545.85.

Among the decliners, PT Hero Global Investment Tbk (HGII) dropped 2.29% to 171, while PT Kencana Energi Lestari Tbk (KEEN) and PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO) both slipped 1.56% to 630 and 815, respectively. PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA) and PT Semacom Integrated Tbk (SEMA) also weakened, falling 1.56% to 126 and 2.35% to 83, respectively. PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) edged down 1.21% to 6,150.

On the upside, PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO) rose 1.11% to 910, while PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (TGRA) remained unchanged at 37.
