Renewable energy stocks decline on Friday, February 28

Jakarta—Shares of renewable energy companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) mainly closed lower on Friday, February 28, with seven stocks declining and one remaining unchanged. The Indonesian Composite Price Index (IDX Composite) closed lower by 3.31% at 6,270.597.

On the losing side, PT Hero Global Investment Tbk (HGII) posted the steepest decline, falling 4.89% to 175. PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO) dropped 3.85% to 875, while PT Kencana Energi Lestari Tbk (KEEN) weakened 3.10% to 625. PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA), PT Semacom Integrated Tbk (SEMA), and PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (TGRA) also saw losses, declining 4.58% to 125, 3.33% to 87, and 6.82% to 41, respectively. PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) edged down 1.21% to 6,125.

Meanwhile, PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO) remained unchanged at 900.
