Jakarta—Shares of companies with renewable energy businesses listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) closed mixed on Tuesday, December 3. The varied closing of the shares of renewable energy issuers occurred amid the significant strengthening of the Composite Stock Price Index (JCI), which closed up 2.11% at 7,196.01.
Only three of the seven shares of renewable energy issuers listed on the IDX ended in the green zone. One stock closed weak, and three other stocks ended stagnant.
The shares of renewable energy issuers that closed green in today’s trading were PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN), which gained 1.12% at 6,800, PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO), which gained 0.53% at 955, and PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA), which gained 1.42% at 143.
Meanwhile, one share of renewable energy issuers weakened Tuesday: PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO), which fell 0.52% at 960.
The stocks that ended stagnant on Tuesday were PT Kencana Energi Lestari Tbk (KEEN) at level 620, PT Semacom Integrated (SEMA) at level 86, and PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (TGRA) at level 18. (hs)
