Renewable energy stocks close mixed on Wednesday, May 7

Jakarta—Renewable energy stocks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended mixed on Wednesday, May 7. Three stocks advanced, four declined, and one remained unchanged. The Indonesian Composite Price Index (IDX Composite) closed higher by 0.41% to 6,926.225.

PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO) led the gainers with a 0.53% increase to 945, followed by PT Semacom Integrated Tbk (SEMA) and PT Hero Global Investment Tbk (HGII), which each added 1 point to close at 83 and 179, respectively.

On the downside, PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) fell 1.61% to 6,100, while PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO) and PT Kencana Energi Lestari Tbk (KEEN) dropped 2.20% and 1.66%, respectively. PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA) also declined 2.84% to 137. PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (TGRA) closed flat at 38.
