Renewable energy stocks close mixed on Monday, May 5

Jakarta—Renewable energy stocks on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended mixed on Monday, May 5, with three stocks gaining, three remaining unchanged, and two closing lower. The Indonesian Composite Price Index (IDX Composite) closed higher by 0.24% to 6,831.952.

PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) led in value and momentum, rising 0.82% to 6,150, while PT Hero Global Investment Tbk (HGII) and PT Semacom Integrated Tbk (SEMA) each added 1 point, closing at 180 and 81, respectively.

Meanwhile, PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA) was the biggest decliner of the day, falling 3.47% to 139, with over 272 million shares traded.

PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO), PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO), and PT Kencana Energi Lestari Tbk (KEEN) all ended flat, while PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (TGRA) edged up 2.70% to 38.
