BREN shares weigh on IDX Composite on Thursday trading

Jakarta – Shares of companies with renewable energy businesses ended mixed on Thursday, January 9. Of the eight stocks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), three ended in the green zone, four fell, and one ended stagnant.

The four shares of renewable energy issuers that ended trading in the red zone, namely PT Semacom Integrated Tbk (SEMA), which weakened 3.26% at level 89, then PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA) shares weakened 2.67% at level 146, PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO) rose 0.55% at level 900, and PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) shares weakened 2.39% at level 10,225.

BREN shares again became the biggest suppressor for the Indonesia Composite Stock Price Index (IDX Composite), amounting to 9.6 index points. The IDX Composite closed down 0.22% to 7,064.59 on Thursday.

Meanwhile, three shares of renewable energy issuers today closed trading in the green zone, led by newcomer issuer PT Hero Global Investment Tbk (HGII) shares, which closed up 6% at level 212. Then, the shares of PT Kencana Energi Lestari Tbk (KEEN) strengthened 5.83% at 635, and PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO) rose 5.11% at 925.

As for one stock that closed stagnant, namely PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (TGRA) at level 48. (hs)
