Jakarta – Most shares of companies with renewable energy businesses ended lower in trading ahead of the Christmas Holiday, Tuesday, December 24. PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) shares became the biggest depressant for the Indonesia Composite Stock Price Index (IDX Composite), reaching 8.6 index points.
On Tuesday, BREN shares ended at 9,125, or 2.67% lower. The shares of this Prajogo Pangestu conglomerate issuer also became the main ballast of the JCI, which weakened 0.43% to 7,065.75.
In addition to BREN shares, the shares of other renewable energy issuers also ended in the red zone on Tuesday, namely PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO), which weakened 0.52% at 955, PT Kencana Energi Lestari Tbk (KEEN) weakened 1.67% at 590, and PT Semacom Integrated Tbk (SEMA) which fell 1.18% at 84.
However, two other renewable energy issuers’ shares closed significantly higher, namely PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (TGRA), which rose 7.69% at level 28, and PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA), which rose 4.51% at level 139.
Meanwhile, one share of a renewable energy issuer ended stagnant, namely shares of PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO) at 935. (hs)
