BREN shares weigh on IDX Composite again

Jakarta- Shares of renewable energy issuer PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN), weakened again and weighed on the Indonesia Composite Index (IDX Composite) in today’s trading, Wednesday, September 25.

IDX Composite closed today 0.48% lower at 7,740.9. Meanwhile, BREN shares ended down 3.46% to 6,975.

In the renewable energy issuer stock group, not only BREN shares but also PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO) shares closed in the red zone, with a 0.85% weakening to 1,160. In addition, PT Kencana Energi Lestari Tbk (KEEN) shares also weakened 0.72% to 685.

Meanwhile, the shares of renewable energy issuers that closed higher today were PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA), which rose 1.28% to level 158, PT Semacom Integrated Tbk (SEMA), which strengthened 0.95% to level 106, and PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO), which appreciated 1.57% to level 970.

Meanwhile, the shares of PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (TGRA) were stagnant at level 23. (hs)
