Jakarta—In early trading this week, Monday, November 25, Shares of renewable energy issuer PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) ended in the green zone or strengthened 2.99% at 6,900.
BREN shares today became the main booster for the Indonesia Composite Stock Price Index (IDX Composite) with a weight of 8.7 index points, in addition to the shares of another Prajogo Pangestu conglomerate issuer PT Chandra Asri pacific Tbk (TPIA) by 23.5 index points.
The IDX Composite strengthened by 1.65% on Monday to 7,314.11. It also returned to the psychological level of 7,300 after moving to 7,100-7,200 for the last few days.
In addition to BREN shares, the shares of renewable energy companies on the IDX today recorded a gain at the end of trading, namely PT Semacom Integrated Tbk (SEMA), which rose 4.82% at level 87.
Meanwhile, most renewable energy stocks today ended in the red zone. Namely the shares of PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO) which weakened 0.97% at 1,020, PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO) weakened 1.04% at 955, PT Kencana Energi Lestari Tbk (KEEN) fell 0.8% at 620, and PT Maharaksa Biru Energi (OASA) weakened 2.26% at 130.
Meanwhile, one stock that was stagnant was PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (TGRA) at level 19. (hs)
