BREN again became the biggest support for the IDX Composite on Tuesday

Jakarta – Shares of companies with renewable energy businesses closed mixed on Tuesday, January 7.

Four stocks of renewable energy issuers ended in the green zone, with significant gains above 2%. Likewise, three weakened stocks also recorded a deep decline at the end of trading.

The shares of renewable energy issuers that closed higher on Tuesday were PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (TGRA), which rose 10% at 44; PT Kencana Energi Lestari Tbk (KEEN), which rose 8.93% at 610; PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN), which rose 7.65% at 10,550, and PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA), which rose 2.74% at 150.

BREN shares were again the main support for the Indonesia Composite Stock Price Index (IDX Composite), weighing 28.7 index points. The JCI closed slightly higher by 0.04% to 7,083.28 or remained close to the psychological level of 7,000.

Meanwhile, the three shares of renewable energy issuers that ended in the red zone were PT Semacom Integrated Tbk (SEMA), which fell 3.23% at level 90, then PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO,) which fell 2.7% at level 900, and PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO) which weakened 1.12% at level 880.
