Subsidised LPG distribution restricted to registered consumer

Jakarta – In order to ensure that the distribution of subsidised 3-kilogram LPG canisters are on target, PT Pertamina Patra Niaga register eligible consumers. At present sale of subsidised LPG is transitioning from consumers being manually registered in the sub-distributor’s logbook, at the Pertamina’s official fuel stations, to being registered digitally.

Regional Marketing Director of PT Pertamina Patra Niaga, Mars Ega Legowo Putra said, to make it easier for the public and users of subsidised 3 kg LPG, eligible consumers data will be synchronised with data from other agencies. Once registered, consumer data will immediately appear when making a purchase at the fuel stations.

“The method of purchase is still the same as before, payment can be cash or digital. For those who haven’t or haven’t registered, the public also doesn’t need to worry because they will still be served by first registering their data at the nearest LPG base,” Putra said in a written statement.

He said currently the implementation of digital technology-based recording is focused on the Java, Madura and Bali regions. As of April, the regions that have implemented this digital recording mechanism have reached 48 cities/regencies and cover more than 32 thousand official Pertamina bases. (Hartatik)
