Shares of renewable energy issuers closed mixed ahead of the weekend

Jakarta – Shares of companies with renewable energy businesses closed mixed in trading ahead of the weekend, Friday, January 10. Of the eight stocks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), four ended higher, two ended in the red zone, and two ended stagnant.

The shares of renewable energy issuers that ended in positive territory on Friday’s trade were PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO) which closed up 5.41% at 975, then PT Kencana Energi Lestari Tbk (KEEN) which gained 0.79% at 640, PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA) rose 2.74% at 150, and PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) which gained 2.2% at 10,450.

BREN shares again supported the Indonesia Composite Stock Price Index (IDX Composite), reaching 8.6 index points. The IDX Composite on Friday closed 0.34% higher at 7,088.86.

The two shares of renewable energy issuers that ended in the red zone were PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (TGRA), which lost 8.33% at level 44, and shares of newcomer issuers on the IDX, PT Hero Global Investment Tbk (HGII), which lost 8.49% at level 194.

Meanwhile, two shares of renewable energy issuers ended stagnant: PT Semacom Integrated Tbk (SEMA) at 89 and PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO) at 900. (hs)
