Renewable energy stocks rally on Monday, led by PGEO and OASA

Jakarta — Renewable energy stocks on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) closed broadly higher on Monday, June 16, with six stocks advancing, one declining, and one remaining flat. The Indonesian Composite Price Index (IDX Composite) closed lower by 0.46% to 7,133.384.

PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO) led the gains, soaring 9.06% to 1,565, with a trading volume of over 304 million shares and the highest transaction value of the day at more than Rp 456 billion. PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA) followed with a 4.47% rise to 187, trading nearly 285 million shares and generating Rp 52.3 billion in value.

PT Kencana Energi Lestari Tbk (KEEN) edged up 0.63% to 805, while PT Hero Global Investment Tbk (HGII) gained 0.59% to 170. Other gainers included PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (TGRA), which rose 7.14% to 30, and PT Semacom Integrated Tbk (SEMA), which ended flat at 87.

PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO) was the only decliner, slipping 0.60% to 835, despite trading over 402,000 shares worth Rp 334 million.
