Jakarta—Renewable energy stocks on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) closed mixed on Thursday, May 22. Three stocks advanced, three declined, and two ended flat. The Indonesian Composite Price Index (IDX Composite) closed higher by 0.34% to 7,166.981.
PT Semacom Integrated Tbk (SEMA) led the gainers, rising 4.44% to 94, followed by PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA), which increased 0.70% to 143. PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO) remained unchanged at 845, with modest volume.
On the downside, PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO) posted the largest loss, falling 2.15% to 1,365, though it still recorded the highest transaction value at over Rp 220 billion on a volume of 158 million shares.
PT Hero Global Investment Tbk (HGII) also declined 2.27% to 172, while PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (TGRA) slipped 2.78% to 35.
PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) and PT Kencana Energi Lestari Tbk (KEEN) both closed flat at 6,500 and 850, respectively, with BREN generating the second-highest value at Rp 58.4 billion.
