Jakarta – The majority of shares of issuers with renewable energy businesses, weakened at the close of this weekend, Friday, September 27. BREN shares also weakened and returned to be one of the pressures for the Indonesia Composite Index (IDX Composite).
PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) shares closed down 1.71% to 7,175 in today’s trading. Thus, the shares of the Prajogo Pangestu conglomerate group have depreciated 18.7% so far this week.
The decline in BREN shares today also pushed the IDX Composite into the green zone; it closed down 0.61% to 7,696.91.
In addition to BREN shares, other renewable energy issuers’ shares weakened in today’s trade. PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO) shares fell 1.3% to 1,135, and PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO) fell 1.03% to 965.
Then, the shares of PT Semacom Integrated Tbk (SEMA) fell 2.91% to 100, and PT Maharaksa Biru Energi (OASA) shares fell 4.79% to 139 today.
The stocks that closed stagnant today were PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (TGRA) and PT Kencana Energi Lestari Tbk (KEEN). (hs)
