Renewable energy stocks close mostly higher on Tuesday, April 29

Jakarta—Renewable energy stocks on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) closed mostly higher on Tuesday, April 29, with five stocks advancing, two declining, and one remaining unchanged. The Indonesian Composite Price Index (IDX Composite) closed higher by 0.39% to 6,749.075.

PT Kencana Energi Lestari Tbk (KEEN) led the gainers, rising 5.56% to 855, followed by PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (TGRA), which jumped 9.68% to 34. PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO) gained 1.62% to 940, while PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA) and PT Semacom Integrated Tbk (SEMA) edged up 0.72% and 1.23%, respectively.

On the downside, PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) and PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO) each slipped 0.41% and 2.65%, respectively. PT Hero Global Investment Tbk (HGII) remained flat at 180, despite recording the day’s highest trading volume at over 26.8 million shares.
