Renewable energy stocks close mixed on Thursday, February 13

Jakarta—Shares of renewable energy companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) closed mixed on Thursday, February 13, with three stocks gaining, three declining, and two remaining unchanged. The Indonesian Composite Price Index (IDX Composite) closed lower by 0.49% to 6,613.568.

Leading the gainers, PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO) climbed 4.40% to 950, while PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO) surged 6.63% to 885. PT Semacom Integrated Tbk (SEMA) also advanced 3.53% to 88.

On the losing side, PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) fell 2.39% to 6,125, while PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA) dropped 2.84% to 137. PT Hero Global Investment Tbk (HGII) edged down 0.53% to 189.

Meanwhile, PT Kencana Energi Lestari Tbk (KEEN) and PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (TGRA) remained unchanged at 635 and 40, respectively.

Trading activity was led by BREN, with over 20 million shares exchanged. The mixed performance of renewable energy stocks reflected varying investor sentiment amid broader market movements. (nsh)
