Jakarta – Pertamina Hulu Energi Offshore North West Java (PHE ONWJ) is building a solar power plant (PLTS) in Merbabu Asih Diversity Village, Larangan Village, Harjamukti District, Cirebon City, West Java.
The clean energy from the solar plant will be used to meet the energy needs of the eco-friendly batik making centre, hydroponic garden, MSME gallery, and waste management bank. The four programmes have previously been initiated by PHE ONWJ.
PHE ONWJ Head of Communication, Relations and CID Ery Ridwan hopes that the green energy power plant can cut expenses for electricity needs and have an economic impact on the beneficiary community.
PHE ONWJ is an oil and gas Production Sharing Contractor (PSC) that is a member of Zone 5 Regional Java Subholding Upstream Pertamina, along with Zone 6 PHE OSES, and Zone 7 PT Pertamina EP.
PHE ONWJ’s working area is located in the city/regency of Kepulauan Seribu, Karawang, Indramayu, Cirebon, Subang. The construction of the solar plant is part of the commitment to build a sustainable business, including accelerating the equitable distribution of clean energy transition with local energy resources.
