Jakarta — Renewable energy stocks on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) ended mostly higher on Wednesday, July 23, with four stocks rising, three remaining flat, and one declining. The Indonesian Composite Price Index (IDX Composite) closed higher at 7,469.23.
PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk (PGEO) led the gains, rising 3.15% to 1,635 on strong investor interest. PGEO also recorded the day’s highest trading volume at over 94.7 million shares and a transaction value of Rp 151 billion across more than 10,000 transactions.
PT Kencana Energi Lestari Tbk (KEEN) followed with a 2.47% increase to 830, while PT Arkora Hydro Tbk (ARKO) and PT Semacom Integrated Tbk (SEMA) edged up by 1.55% and 2.38%, respectively.
Meanwhile, PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN) was the sole decliner, slipping 0.63% to 7,825, despite posting the highest transaction value of the day at over Rp 257 billion from more than 33 million shares traded.
PT Maharaksa Biru Energi Tbk (OASA), PT Hero Global Investment Tbk (HGII), and PT Terregra Asia Energy Tbk (TGRA) remained unchanged at 191, 157, and 27, respectively. TGRA again recorded no trading activity.
