Jakarta – Indonesian Electric Vehicle Industry Association (Periklindo) held the 2023 Periklindo Electric Vehicle Show (PEVS 2023) electric vehicle exhibition which took place May 17-21, 2023, at JIExpo Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. PEVS 2023 is the second expo to be held in Indonesia.
Periklindo Chairman Moeldoko officially opened the expo with the confidence that there will be higher transactions and that the event will serve as a promotional event for electric vehicles (EV).
He said that Indonesia has “the confidence to use the momentum of this changing situation to leap together while we are talking about EV. This is the momentum, if we don’t welcome it well we will be left behind. If we jump instead of just walking, we will lead.”
Moeldoko said Indonesia has resources that can support the sustainability of electric vehicles production. Not only exhibiting electric vehicles, the exhibition also presents electric vehicle supporting industries such as charging technology, charging infrastructure, battery solutions, and other components.
