PLN President Director Darmawan Prasodjo emphasised that the provision of this facility is part of PLN’s commitment to support the success of the Republic of Indonesia’s Independence Day celebrations at IKN while strengthening the government’s efforts to make electric vehicles the main mode of transportation in the new capital city.
“PLN is committed to making IKN a smart, green and beautiful city by relying on renewable energy. We ensure that all SPKLU units and PLN officers are ready to support the smooth running of the event on August 17, 2024,” Darmawan said in a written statement on Thursday, August 15.
